Tires, Brakes, Suspension
Brakes are the most important safety system for your ebike. Being able to travel at greater speeds and for longer distances makes the requirement to know you are able to stop really important. When looking at brakes there are a few things that could be considered such as disk brakes, mechanical brakes or hydraulic brakes. You'll notice on most of the brake systems used on our ebikes that hydraulic disk brakes are used for best safety and security so you can stop on time.
When it comes to suspension we can all agree that we've come a long way from what we were once able to purchase for bikes. Today you could look at having fixed suspension vs air suspension vs hydraulic suspension. What you will want to consider is that suspension maximizes the friction between the tires and the road which helps with steering capabilities and overall how the bike handles. You should also know that a good suspension system will also provide a more comfortable ride and can limit the impact of objects you may ride over. For example on a rough bumpy road vs a recently paved smooth road you may want a better suspension system for the rougher road because its terrain is bumpy. Fun fact: suspension travel can range from 50-200 mm. This can be a huge difference in the experience you get when riding your e-bike.
