Why Helmets and Other Personal Safety Rules are Important

Whatever bike you are about to ride, a swift check can prevent issues. Whether it's a loose chain or unfamiliar brakes, spotting problems before hitting the trail is safer than discovering them mid-ride. This applies whether you are renting a bike or if it's your own.

When dealing with e-bikes, the checklist is more extensive. You must grasp the purpose and condition of all parts, such as battery charge, throttle strength, brakes display system, and motor, before starting your journey. This is the reason behind our creation of a concise guide containing safety tips to ensure your well-being as no two e-bikes are the same.

E-Bike Safety Tips:

  • Head out with a Full Battery
  • Check your Brakes and Overall Bike Condition (including looking for rust, leaking fluid etc.)
  • Put on a Helmet
  • Follow Speed Limits
  • Only Use Designated E-Bike Paths
  • Choose Reflective Clothing and Use Lights
  • Acquaint Yourself with Throttle vs the Brake
